An Octopus is a sea animal with rounded bodies, bulging eyes, and eight long arms. They are widespread in oceans globally but especially abundant in deep, tropical waters. Crabs, shrimps, and lobsters rank among their favorite foods. The Octopus when threatened shoots an inky fluid that darkens the surrounding water to confuse the aggressor. The Octopus can also change to gray, brown, pink, blue, or green to blend in with its surroundings, or to as a way to communicate with other Octopuses.
