Description

The Pacific Coral Rabbitfish, also known as Bluespotted Spinefoot, Coral Spinefoot, Ocellated Spinefoot, or Orange Spinefoot (Siganus Corallinus), is yellow with numerous small blue spots on the head and body. There is a dark triangular area above and behind the eye. The Pacific Coral Rabbitfish or Bluespotted Spinefoot grows to 11.8″ inches in length. It is found on coral reefs of the Western Pacific. In Australia it is known from the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland.

The Pacific Coral Rabbitfish or Bluespotted Spinefoot requires a 120-gallon or larger aquarium. It’s very peaceful species except when housed with other Rabbitfish. The Pacific Coral Rabbitfish or Bluespotted Spinefoot may be housed with more aggressive fish. Predators will tend to leave it alone because of its venomous dorsal spines.
